I'm 37wk 3 days today. Off I went to my weekly OB appointment with Dr. Butler. A PA student was with him doing her rotation (love her!) so she accompanied him as well. Well some say "no news is good news" and I suppose that's true in this case.
Cameron is not showing any sign of making his appearance anytime soon. At least he's head down, but he hasn't dropped. They didn't check my cervix this appt but will next week. I'm completely OK with him not coming until after August 5th (which is only 9 days before due date). I finish my IM rotation then and after that, I'll be ready!!! Let's hope he will be too!! I'm measuring well and no weight gain so that's a positive. He said I've hit a plateau and he didn't seem worried especially since I put on 6lb in 2 weeks (last appt) from all the swelling which put my total weight gain to 37lb! GEEEEZZZZZ.
Dr Butler is on call next week and Dr Greene is on call the following week (due date week) so I'm OK with either of them delivering Cam! That definitely makes me feel better. But if he's late, then I'm not sure. I didn't ask beyond that because I'm hoping he arrives before his due date!!
The carpal tunnel is still there. I am constantly moving my left hand around because of my fingers tingling. Another joy I'll be ready to get rid of after this delivery!
I will still say overall this has been an easy, great pregnancy. I couldn't ask for anything better. Never did I get sick, nauseous, or have food/smell aversions. So that's good. I can still wear non-preggo workout clothes and PJs but only flipflops and tennis shoes are fitting. I had to get 1 size larger and in wide for Toni's wedding this weekend. Poor fat swollen feet!!!
