So I have entered the "home stretch" and currently in my 31st week of pregnancy. Easy Peasy.....
I will say that heartburn and slight swelling have been noticeable at certain times but nothing to cry home about.
Our first baby shower was June 12th. What fun!!! I love seeing all the cute stuff for Cam!! I can't wait to have his room completely finished and everything organized/put away. BuyBuyBaby might be the best, most organized store for kids! I don't feel overwhelmed when I'm there and the staff is very helpful and friendly.
We have 2 more showers in Owensboro (family one on 6/25 and friend on 7/9).
My first clinical rotation in PA school started on Monday, June 13th. Internal Med with Dr. Maxson for 2wk then with Dr. Staley for 6wk. This will take me up until August 5th and from there, I am off the rest of August and Sept. I will start my rotations back in October. I have had a great 2 days thus far. We will do rounds at Good Sam but also have clinic hours throughout the day. Very fast paced office but the staff is excellent!! I am much better at "doing" than learning by a book!! I will say that Monday was hard though. I left @ 740 and didn't get home until 730. I walked in the door and Kneesa was crying loudly which upset me. So on top of my hormones, stress and her- I started crying. I felt so guilty and bad for leaving her all day by herself. I just wish she had someone to play with or come let her out. Maybe we need to hire a dog walker to come 1hr a day. I love her so much and to know she was lonely, broke my heart. :o(
I can't believe you're in the home stretch already!
ReplyDeleteRandom, but Dr. Maxson/Staley were (maybe still are) my mom's doctors. Not much longer with that either.
