Cam's cousins!!!

On Thursday, Sept 6th, my brother and SIL, Clarissa had their precious twins, a boy and girl.   We weren't able to come home until Sat, but I was filled with joy and happiness.   How exciting!  TWINS!   We have twins on our side of the family ....my maternal granddad's side (Bowman side).  ....and Shannon said twins on his side (his brother).....so I knew the possibility was there for me but thought since Shannon's brother did, it would surely skip me.  Never did I think of my brother!   Comes to find out, neither of them thought it either.   Clarissa had to ask about the twins on her side and sure enough, she had them too.  Looks like my brother & Shannon's brother has twins!  How fun!!!!   :)   Maybe one of my children will have twins, one day!

The best part of this is to see my brother.  At the hospital, I've never seen his smile is big.  He was on cloud 9.....the happiest I've ever seen him.  A proud daddy, that's for sure!

Nonetheless, I have tried to see them once a month......not sure I'll be able to do that every month, but at least at the beginning while they are growing and changing so much.  Sept-Dec won't be a problem.....but hopefully 2013 will still be at least 6-8wk.....I definitely want our children to grow up close......and now that Cam is walking, he and Hudson can play a bit more.  This makes me happy and sad.  It makes me wish we all just lived in the same town......but I know we will not move back to Owensboro....nor do I really want to and with Raymond working for dad and Clarissa's family also in Owensboro, I know they will never leave either. Oh well, it's only a 2hr drive.
